About CIMI

Founded by JDC-Israel in 1998, the Center for International Migration and Integration (CIMI) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Israel in meeting its migration challenges.  Originally founded to leverage the extensive Israeli practical expertise in the fields of immigrant integration and diaspora-homeland partnerships, today CIMI supports Israel in a wide range of migration management issues including labor migration, asylum, counter-trafficking, and assisted voluntary return. CIMI strives to help Israel meet its obligations under international law and apply international standards and best practices in the field of migration.

Our Mission

CIMI promotes its mission through adapting international expertise to create practical and effective migration interventions in Israel, collaborating with international and local partnerships to implement customized services for the Israeli Government and NGOs, and raising awareness about migrant rights through program development and distribution of information.
