Thai Consul Visit During Reception of Workers at Ben Gurion Airport
On September 2017, CIMI staff at Ben Gurion airport conducted a site visit with Minister Counsellor at the Thai Office of Labor Affairs in Israel, and the Consul at the Thai Embassy in Israel. The visit took place during the reception of Thai agricultural workers who arrive at the airport under the Thailand-Israel Cooperation project. CIMI staff conducts the reception process. A representative of the Ministry of Interior joined the tour conducted by CIMI, as did members of the CIMI board and former Israeli ambassador to Thailand. CIMI staff answered questions about a range of topics related to the reception process and the guests also spoke with the workers who had just landed at the airport. The visit was interesting and informative, and helpful in introducing the process to the group.
